Georgia not to join Western sanctions against Russia

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili said that Georgia will not join the financial and economic sanctions of the West against Russia.

“Given the national interests of the country and the interests of the people, we do not plan to join the economic and financial sanctions of the West against Russia. The imposition of sanctions will cause even greater harm to our country and our people,” Garibashvili said.

Earlier, British Prime Minister Johnson imposed sanctions against VTB and Aeroflot.
