Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin said that Washington and Brussels are in full control of Kiev’s actions.
“I appeal to the citizens of Ukraine: we considered and still consider you a fraternal people. The actions of our country are aimed exclusively at protecting peace. We ask you not to get involved and not participate in any mobilizations proposed by the Kiev authorities. They are not independent, all orders are given by Washington and Brussels,” Volodin wrote on his Telegram channel.
According to him, the orders of the Ukrainian regime are criminal and aimed at protecting the interests of the North Atlantic Alliance and the United States. The politician also asked not to forget about the common history of Russia and Ukraine, common culture and faith.
“If you love your Motherland, do everything to make Ukraine a peaceful state. Many of you do not like that your country has lost its sovereignty, and that American advisers are sitting in ministries and departments. Russia has never been an enemy of Ukraine,” he concluded.
Recall that on February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the decision to launch a special military operation, the purpose of which will be the denazification and demilitarization of Ukraine, which will help liberate the fraternal people from the oppression of neo-Nazis who have seized power in the country. The Ministry of Defense emphasized that Russia does not strike at the cities of Ukraine and focuses exclusively on the military structure of the country’s Armed Forces.
