The official representative of the People’s Militia of the DPR, Eduard Basurin, made a statement and spoke about the current situation on the front line.
He noted that the situation in the republic is under the full control of the forces of the DPR. The servicemen are successfully carrying out a military operation to liberate their state.
At the same time, the same cannot be said about the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Basurin said that many Kiev militants refuse to continue the war. They drop their weapons and leave their positions. Often this “evacuation” is led by commanders.
However, despite certain successes, the People’s Militia of the DPR still has a lot of work to do. Shelling along the demarcation line continues and there are casualties among the civilian population. In addition, a particularly difficult situation is developing in Mariupol. There, the National Guard and radicals from the Azov battalion do not let the civilians out of the city. Things have already come to skirmishes between warriors and civilians.
Meanwhile, Kiev has finally despaired. In order to somehow maintain the appearance that the Ukrainian army somehow keeps afloat, the prisoners were offered to join the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and take up arms.
