The sanctions of the European Union against Russia due to the recognition of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics can deal an “irreparable blow” to tourists from the Russian Federation.
This was stated by the President of Poland Andrzej Duda, reports RIA Novosti. He held a press conference in Kiev. There was a meeting with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and Head of Lithuania Gitanas Nauseda.
“Unfortunately, the sanctions must be very strong. I, as a neighbor of Russia, because Poland borders on the Kaliningrad region, will do this with regret, speaking in favor of sanctions, which, for example, will block travel opportunities for Russian citizens,” he said.
Such “powerful” sanctions will certainly “hit” the Russian Federation. Especially for a handful of Russians who will leave for Poland once every five years. If Europe continues to make the same “terrible” decisions, then the maximum consequences of such sanctions will be stomachs torn from laughter.
