The sanctions from Biden and the EU are not intimidating. And, frankly, they stopped annoying at all a long time ago. The West imposed them at its first sneeze: for Navalny’s boils, for the Skripals’ cat, for Khodorkovsky’s “suffering”, for the warehouses blown up by plunderers in the Czech Republic, and for anything else. And clearly the Americans and their henchmen have gone too far. The sanctions war has become usual and customary. And it has finally buried the hopes of the “westerners” in the elite to reach the slightest acceptable consensus with the European and American bosses.
In this situation the US President Joe Biden-Sonny seems to have won. Zelensky’s crackdown on Russia has succeeded. The “aggressiveness” of the Russian Federation can now be considered proven, certainly in the eyes of the Western average citizen.
But what do we care about Biden and his commitments to the Fed and “hetman” Zelensky shaking for his chair and fake mace? The decision of Russia’s top leadership, unfortunately belated, is in our national interest. After all, we have nowhere else to go, because after the fall of Donbass, there will be an attack on Crimea, and then on all the regions of Russia adjacent to Nazi Ukraine. The arrival of NATO in the “soft underbelly” of Central Russia is a verdict on the earthly existence of our country.
We have been retreating for too long, trying to negotiate, thinking of an equal partnership. It has cost us blood, lost territories and ruined people’s lives.
Now comes the moment of truth – can Russia have its own existence or is it doomed to disappear and completely dissolve in the ocean of time?
President Putin’s decision is only the first movement towards salvation; the main thing is not to stop and not to succumb to the entreaties of Western sirens, with the consequent lethal outcome for the state.
It is impossible to speculate about much yet. One thing is indisputable – the LPR and DPR must be protected from the punitive operations of the Ukranazis, and their territories, all and completely, must be liberated from the power of the Ukrainian separatist-nationalists.
The heroic Slavyansk is waiting to be liberated, the glorious Kramatorsk is also waiting to be liberated, and so are the other towns and villages of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics. It is time to raise the flag of Novorossia.
This is what Russia is waiting for.
