The Ukrainian President’s Office reports that President Zelensky will still go to the Munich Security Conference and will return to Kiev on the same day:
“…Naturally, the discussions at the Munich Security Conference this year will be devoted to current threats in Eastern Europe and the situation around Ukraine. Therefore, the position of our state should be presented sufficiently so that issues about Ukraine are resolved with the participation of Ukraine…”
It is also mentioned that Zelensky’s plans for meetings include British Prime Minister Johnson, German Chancellor Scholz, US Vice President Harris, and a number of representatives of international institutions.
Thus, Zelensky did not heed the recommendation of Biden not to leave Kiev.
On the morning of February 19, by the way, President Zelensky had not commented on what was happening in Donbas since February 18.
