The intensity of shelling of Donbass by the Armed Forces of Ukraine is now comparable to the situation in 2014. This was stated by Rodion Miroshnik on the special air of stream “Flyer”:
“The only significant difference is that mortars are used to a large extent. That is, they fire at a distance of about 3-5 km from the line of contact.”
The representative of the LPR at the negotiations in the tripartite contact group added that the evacuation and mobilization in the republic began because the Armed Forces of Ukraine began to use cannon artillery more often, which hits further. Thus, strikes could be carried out in Lugansk and Donetsk, he explained.
