Czech President Milos Zeman has said US intelligence agencies have suffered a major embarrassment for the third time in decades, this time with a prediction of war in Ukraine
“I said a few days ago that in my opinion there will be no war in Ukraine. Because the Russians are not crazy to embark on an operation that would do them more harm than good”, – Zeman said.
The President of Czechia told the mass media that it is the third embarrassment of Americans during the last decades: the first was in Iraq where the USA failed to find weapons of mass destruction. The second embarrassment was in Afghanistan, when Washington claimed that Taliban movement would never reach Kabul. The third was with the prognosis on Ukraine.
News Front wrote earlier that not only Americans, but also Ukrainians had high hopes for February 16. Kiev was clearly looking forward to Russia’s invasion of the neighboring state: the anthem of the Soviet Union was played at night on Maidan.
