“We’re not building a wall on the Polish-Russian border, we’re only planning to. It is written in the concept of border guard development, there are such ideas”, – Skurkiewicz said.
Dmitry Lyskov, Head of Press Service of the Government of the Kaliningrad region, said that there is already a fence on the Russian-Polish border – on the side of the Kaliningrad region, while there is no fence on the Polish side, but the Polish side is planning to build it.
Last year Poland against the background of migration crisis started building a wall on the border with Belarus – 5 meters high and 186 kilometers long. Construction began on January 25 and is scheduled to finish in the next six months. More than $370 million is planned for its construction.
