A part of the staff of the Lithuanian embassy in Kiev has been moved to Lviv, said Lithuanian presidential foreign policy adviser Asta Skygirite
The number of diplomats in Kiev, which is necessary for the basic functions of the Lithuanian diplomatic mission, remains.
“Lithuania also transferred part of the embassy staff to Lviv, but the necessary functions that the embassy should perform are still performed in Kiev. As long as the situation allows our diplomats to work in Kiev, they work in Kiev. If circumstances become so heated that it will be impossible, it will be dangerous to work in Kiev, everyone will be transferred to Lviv,” – said Ms. Skygirite
