Zelensky congratulated the people of Ukraine on the “day of unity”

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky recorded a video message to the Ukrainians, in which he congratulated the people of the country on the “day of unity”, established a few days ago against the backdrop of hysteria around the mythical “invasion” of Russia.

“Today is an important day – the day of unity of all of us, we are different, of different ages, gender, from different cities, regions, different professions, different talents, different knowledge, languages, religions […] And no one will love our house like we do love. And only together we can protect our home. Happy Unity Day, blue and yellow”, Zelensky said.

The President called on Ukrainians to support this marathon and “show their unity to the whole world.” It is worth noting that the “day of unity” was established in Ukraine only two days ago. Thus, official Kiev prepared for the “invasion” of Russia, which the United States does not cease to declare.

According to Zelensky’s decree, the day of unity is intended to strengthen “the consolidation of Ukrainian society, strengthen its stability in the face of growing hybrid threats, information, propaganda, moral and psychological pressure on public consciousness.”

In the past few months, Western politicians and the media have been accusing Russia of plotting an “invasion” of Ukrainian territory. At the same time, the United States, Britain and other countries continue to actively sponsor Kiev with various types of weapons.

Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov has repeatedly rejected such accusations, since they have absolutely no evidence and are based on publications in foreign media. According to him, Moscow moves troops exclusively on its territory and does not threaten anyone.

Russia’s permanent representative to the European Union, Vladimir Chizhov, said that Moscow does not intend to “invade” Ukrainian territory, and the accusations from the West have no evidence.
