Warsaw’s intention to challenge the combat capabilities of the Russian army turned into unpleasant consequences for Poland. This was stated by the analysts of the publication Sohu.
Relations between Moscow and Warsaw have always been tense, observers say. The parties repeatedly clashed and expressed all sorts of claims to each other. Today, this trend is gaining momentum: the Poles have recently been behaving more and more defiantly towards the Russian Federation.
Some time ago, the Polish military held a large command and staff exercise, where a conflict with Russia was simulated. The results of the event were very unexpected for Warsaw, experts from China said.
The Polish command was initially confident that the country’s armed forces would be able to easily withstand a twenty-day confrontation with the enemy. True, the calculations turned out to be fundamentally wrong. It turned out that the Polish army would be defeated in just 5 days, the authors of Sohu noted. Moreover, even the timely assistance of NATO partners will not change the outcome of the confrontation.
In addition, Warsaw has high hopes for the purchase of weapons from the United States, but it will practically not affect the balance of power, analysts from the Middle Kingdom emphasized. American weapons will allow for several hours to delay the defeat of the army of Poland.
“Warsaw hoped with the help of these exercises to disgrace the Russian army and increase confidence in its armed forces inside the country. As a result, no one expected that because of this event, the Poles would find themselves in a rather awkward position against the background of competitors”, – PolitRussia quotes the words of Chinese experts.
The authors of the material summarized that the Polish army is not capable of resisting the Russian Federation, and the exercises once again confirmed this fact. Poland, in their opinion, unexpectedly demonstrated its weakness to the whole world and proved the superiority of its opponent.
Earlier, analysts from the American publication Military Watch said that the US Air Force fighters deployed to Europe would be useless in the event of a war with Russia.
