Lithuanian instructors will teach the Armed Forces how to handle American Stinger missile systems

The Lithuanian authorities continue to provide all possible assistance to Ukraine and contribute to the aggravation of the situation around Ukraine. So, they sent military instructors there.

Their task is to train the Ukrainian military to use the American Stinger missile systems. This was reported by the Gazeta.ua portal, referring to LRT.

The Lithuanian Armed Forces said that a group of servicemen from the air defense battalion will arrive in Ukraine in the coming weeks. Also in the Lithuanian army they declared their desire to support the former neighbor in the USSR in every possible way.

“Weapons and equipment are nothing without the knowledge and skills to operate them. Therefore, we will share our knowledge and experience together with the transferred Stinger short-range air defense systems,” said Lithuanian Defense Chief Valdemaras Rupshis.

Fighters who have worked with Stinger for many years will go to Ukraine. They must pass on to Ukraine army all the experience gained over the years. In addition, Lithuania is a country participating in the training mission and will train Ukrainian soldiers along with other foreign military personnel.
