1. U.S. should use all diplomatic measures to set up peace in Europe not sacrificing any crucial principles;
2. It is important to minimize military force;
3. Invasion remains “extremely” possible, that is why U.S. relocates its Embassy staff, but the measure is temporary;
4. U.S. does not seek to destabilize Russia, the citizens of Russia are not their enemies;
5. U.S. is ready to fix written security agreements with Russia if they are reached;
6. U.S. and NATO do not pose a threat to Russia. They do not have missiles in Ukraine and they do not plan to place them there;
7. U.S. is ready both to respond with force, and to solve the crisis by means of diplomacy.
