The White House press service has said that US President Joe Biden told Russian President Vladimir Putin that Washington was ready for any scenario in Ukraine
“President Biden made clear to President Putin that while the United States remains ready to engage diplomatically in full coordination with our allies and partners, we are equally prepared for other scenarios,” the office said.
It also said the two leaders discussed “Russia’s increasing military build-up along the Russian-Ukrainian border” over the phone. And that Biden assured that if Russia decided to “invade” Ukraine, the United States and its partners would respond strongly.
