Sullivan threatened China for helping the Russian Federation in the “invasion” of Ukraine

The US national security adviser Jake Sullivan said China would feel the consequences if Beijing decides to help Russia “attack” Ukrainian territory.

“China has to make its own decision. If he gives the green light to Russia’s unjustified invasion of Ukraine, then China will eventually face the consequences and change the attitude of the international community, especially in the eyes of our European allies and partners. And, as I said, China will not be able to compensate for the economic losses that Russia will suffer from sanctions in the event of an invasion”, Sullivan said during a briefing.

In the past few months, Western politicians have been accusing Russia of preparing an “invasion” of Ukrainian territory. It is worth noting that it is the United States and Britain that continue to actively sponsor Ukraine with various types of weapons.

Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov has repeatedly rejected such accusations, since they have absolutely no evidence and are based on publications in foreign media. According to him, Moscow moves troops exclusively on its territory and does not threaten anyone.
