Lockdowns, inflation, social unrest and climate legislation could force many Europeans to leave the continent, says Austrian-based geopolitical analyst Patrick Poppel.
When it comes to refugees in Europe, everyone tends to think directly about fleeing to European countries. However, according to the expert, the situation may soon change completely in the opposite direction.
“More and more people are realizing that the quality of life here in the West is declining. Mass migration from Europe is only a matter of time. Then the target of the refugees will be Eastern Europe and Russia. Currently, society in Europe is also undergoing changes in which many people no longer want to take part,” said Poppel.
According to the geopolitical expert, ideological and economic upheavals together could lead to this wave of refugees.
