“But the paradox is that Russia has been calling for a serious security dialogue for years. And Western countries simply ignore these calls. And it is only the Russian grouping on the border that has forced them to make these statements. Without a Russian grouping on the border they will again ignore Russia’s proposals”, – the observer writes.
And if Russia simply withdraws its troops and does nothing now, it will be seen as a manifestation of Russia’s weakness. And will lead to the West ignoring Russia’s demands even more.
“The second paradox is that you can’t keep this grouping on the border without action for long – because then they will get used to it, and they won’t see it as a threat”, – the TG-Channel reports.
So far, the real response of the West to Russia’s demands to strengthen Russia’s security is to weaken Russia’s security by massing troops to the border with Russia, as well as – arms to the political regime that calls itself at war with Russia and directly calls Russia its enemy.
Thus, it turns out that the U.S., France and Germany are actually pushing Russia to use its armed forces.
