Tear gas used to disperse protesters in Sudan

A protest against the policies of the authorities was held outside the presidential palace in Sudan.

Law enforcers in the Sudanese capital used tear gas against protesters against the policy of the authorities.

It is understood that the protest was attended by students. Law enforcers used tear gas grenades. It is not yet known whether there were any clashes or casualties.

Earlier, on February 3, a protest, also linked to Sudan’s military authorities, took place in the town of El Fasher. The action of local law enforcers against the protesters was harsh.
