Zelensky canceled meeting with German Foreign Minister Baerbock because of Nord Stream-2

It turned out that the meeting between German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock and President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky did not take place due to the fault of the guarantor.

It turned out that he canceled it because of the existing disagreements between Berlin and Kiev. This is reported by the publication “Strana.ua”, referring to CNN. TV channel journalist Jake Tupper wrote on his Twitter page that his source told him what happened.

According to him, Zelensky himself canceled the meeting with Burbock. The German minister refused to say that Germany would go against Russia’s Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline even in the event of a hypothetical Russian attack on Ukraine.

In addition, another reason that the talks did not take place is that Berlin opposes the supply of military aid to Ukraine.

News Front previously reported that Zelensky and Baerbock did not meet due to scheduling errors. However, it all turned out to be a planned cancellation, justified by controversy.
