Head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov said that in parallel with the Russian-Belarusian exercises “Allied Resolve-2022”, Kiev will conduct its own maneuvers from February 10 to 20 using Bayraktar strike drones and Javelin man-portable anti-tank missile systems.
“From February 10 to February 20, exercises of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be held using Bayraktar drones, Javelin missile systems and NLAW portable guided anti-tank missiles,” the minister said on the air of the ICTV channel.
According to him, at the moment Ukraine is receiving weapons from Western partners, which it had previously “only dreamed of.” Reznikov added that during a recent conversation with British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace London, it was promised not to stop the supply of weapons to Ukraine.
Over the past few months, the United States and Britain have been actively sponsoring Ukraine with various types of weapons. Washington, London and a number of other Western “partners” of Kiev determine this by the fact that Russia is allegedly preparing an “invasion” of Ukrainian territory.
Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov has repeatedly rejected such accusations, since they have absolutely no evidence and are based on publications in foreign media. According to him, Moscow moves troops exclusively on its territory and does not threaten anyone.
