Russia and China oppose the politicization of the fight against terrorism and condemn interference in the affairs of countries “under the flag” of fighting terrorism.
The text of the relevant statement on international relations entering a new era and global sustainable development is published on the Kremlin website.
“The parties condemn terrorism in all its manifestations, promote the idea of forming a single global anti-terrorist front with the central role of the UN, stand for strengthening political coordination and constructive interaction in the field of multilateral efforts to combat terrorism. The parties oppose the politicization of issues of combating terrorism and turning them into tools of the policy of double standards, condemn the practice of interference in the internal affairs of other states for geopolitical purposes through the use of terrorist and extremist groups, as well as under the flag of combating international terrorism and extremism,” the statement says.
