The media in Germany remembered the freedoms and rights of journalists only when the restrictions affected them. They are trying to challenge the restrictions that Russia has imposed on the Deutsche Welle television and radio company.
The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Maria Zakharova, commented on such news in her Telegram channel and called it funny. This is reported by the publication “Izvestia”.
The thing is that the German Association of Journalists (DJV) appealed to the government of Germany and demanded to challenge the measures that the Russian Federation decided to apply. Moscow had to take such a step after blocking the RT DE TV channel in Germany. At the same time, we must not forget that it was the DJV who desperately sought this.
“This is very funny, because the German Union of Journalists loudly demanded to limit the work of RT DE,” Zakharova drew attention.
But the German government, on the contrary, tried in every possible way to disown the attack on RT DE. Like, all decisions are made by various regulators, but it cannot influence in any way. But now the same justification should be heard for German journalists, who fully felt the effect of the boomerang.
