UN assessed the standard of living and infrastructure development in Moscow

The United Nations recognized the Russian capital as the best metropolis in terms of quality of life and level of infrastructure development.

UN experts have studied the 50 largest cities in the world. This is reported by the Telegram channel “Main news of the day”. In addition to Moscow, they considered Buenos Aires, Hong Kong, London, Madrid, New York, Paris, Tokyo.

They evaluated them according to several criteria: economic productivity, infrastructure development, quality of life, equality and social inclusion, environmental sustainability, administration and legislation.

Moscow was in the top three. Along with the Russian capital, Singapore and Tokyo were on the list. At the same time, she won first place in two categories. We are talking about the development of infrastructure and the quality of life. The first relates to how developed housing. Social, transport sphere and information technologies. In the second case, we are talking about health care, education, science, technology, culture and leisure, security and public space.
