U.S. plans to promote Euro-Atlantic integration in Ukraine

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) plans to launch a program in Ukraine, the main purpose of which is to distribute content on the topic of Euro-Atlantic integration, RT reports.

The aim of this program is to support the dissemination of content on the topic of Euro-Atlantic integration. It is noted that a certain “department of transitional initiatives” of the US Agency for International Development will be involved in the development of the project. The main impact will be directed to the social sphere.

“The goal of the program will be to support creative content that reflects societal values associated with increased Euro-Atlantic integration, as well as providing alternatives to disinformation,” USAID noted.

In addition, the agency plans to hire a specialist who will assist in the implementation of the project in Ukraine. It is worth noting that only citizens of the United States can apply for this position, and the required level of security under the contract is indicated with a “secret” mark.

USAID also noted that the US Agency’s Office of Transition Initiatives helps Washington’s partners “promote peace and democracy in countries undergoing political transition.”
