Thomas-Greenfield also clarified that the United States only has grievances against Russian Federation that have to do with “irresponsible” actions on the border with Ukraine.
“Let me be clear, we have no plans to weaken Russia as my Russian counterpart stated today, on the contrary, we welcome Russia as a responsible member of the international community, but its actions on the Ukrainian border are irresponsible”, – said the US Permanent Representative to the UN.
