Ambassador of Ukraine ti U.S. says no disagreements between Kiev and Washington

Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States Oksana Markarova said that there is no increase in tension between Kiev and Washington, which was previously reported by Western media.

Earlier, CNN said that the difference in the views of the American and Ukrainian administrations on Russia’s alleged preparation of an “invasion” caused tensions between Kiev and Washington to grow.

According to journalists, US President Joe Biden and his aides are expressing extreme dissatisfaction with the fact that the Ukrainian authorities allegedly downplay the threat of a Russian “invasion” and “without much gratitude” accept support from the United States.

“There are no frictions. Look, we may have some discussions, we may have a difference in views, but the United States is our strategic partner and, I would even say, our number one strategic friend”, Markarova said on CBS.

According to the diplomat, relations between Kiev and Washington are currently “at the highest level in the last 30 years.” Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov noted that Ukraine is completely under the external control of the United States.
