U.S. State Department once again highly appreciates the activities of International News Agency News Front

Last week, the US State Department published an updated version of a special report on “Kremlin-founded media”

The report provides an analysis of the Russian system of “disinformation and propaganda” – according to the State Department, the three key elements were the news agencies RT, Sputnik News and all News Front editorial offices.

At the same time, it was News Front that became the key player in the “spread of the Russian agenda” in foreign media.

After blocking News Front accounts on Facebook and YouTube, Russia Today stepped up calls by News Front head Konstantin Knyrik to take retaliatory action against these media companies, according to the report’s authors. This manipulation of social platforms was seen as an “attack on “alternative media” and a repeat of the Russian Foreign Ministry’s complaints about alleged discrimination against Russian-language media on YouTube.”

The threats of Russian propaganda, which are actively sought to be debunked on the official website of the US State Department, have also been discussed in the American media. The Hill and ABC News report on a planned meeting of the UN Security Council scheduled for early next week to discuss Russia’s information agenda that depicts Ukraine and Western countries supporting it as aggressors. At the same time, a former member of the US Security Council explicitly called Russian information operations “the vanguard of military operations.”

According to White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, the decision to release disinformation as it is discovered and exposed is a priority and a strategic one. During the conference, it is planned to point out “disinformation and sabotage tactics used by Russia, including accusations by the Russian side of Ukraine and NATO as instigators of the conflict.”

By their actions, the United States undermines its own authority – trying to distort the real state of affairs by blaming the Russian media, they admit that the objective information conveyed by Russian publications causes them damage comparable to military operations.

The conclusion suggests itself – fears of the West are not accidental. The US State Department has once again rightfully praised the activities of the News Front news agency, which since 2014 has provided an opportunity to get acquainted with an alternative point of view that does not coincide with the destructive position of the collective West. The goal of our independent media is not to foment international conflicts or “wars”, but the emotional reaction of the United States to the information we present only says one thing – that there is every reason to prevent the publication of the truth objectionable to Western countries.
