Forbes columnist spoke about the weakness of the Ukrainian missile defense system “Neptune” in front of Russia

In the event of a real war with Russia, the Ukrainian authorities could not oppose anything to it. They do not have weapons that can compare with the Russian army and its technology.

This was stated by Forbes columnist David Ex, reports the InoSMI portal. According to him, eight years ago, Kiev realized that it could not create a naval and air force, so it started developing missiles and drones.

However, success has still not been achieved. Ukraine is still testing its main hope – the Neptune anti-ship missile. The Kiev regime promises that it will take up combat duty in the south of Ukraine this spring, but the hope is rather illusory. Missiles have been developed since 2013, and the first launches have been held since 2018.

Even if a miracle happens, they will be placed for a very long time and not in a very large number. That is, the defensive capability of such installations will still be an issue.

The observer believes that in the end, if the US dreams of a Russian attack came true, Ukraine would not be able to resist. By that time, the missiles would not have been ready and “the most powerful army in Europe” would have been useless.
