The British Foreign Office intends to tighten sanctions against Russia on January 31, a source in government circles told TASS correspondent
“The Foreign Office is expected to announce a tougher sanctions regime in Parliament on Monday so that Britain can target Russia’s strategic and financial interest”, – the source said.
He did not specify whether this would involve the imposition of new sanctions or just the adoption of a sanctions package that could be applied in the event of a hypothetical invasion of Ukraine.
