Argentine President Alberto Fernandez, on the eve of his visit to Moscow, has expressed gratitude to Russia for helping Argentina during the coronavirus pandemic
He said it created the best conditions for further development of cooperation between the two countries.
“This is a perfect moment. I believe we can seriously expand trade ties”, – he stressed.
The Argentine head also said he had “good expectations” from his trip to Russia and his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. During the meeting, Fernandez wants to personally thank the Russian president for supplying the Russian coronavirus vaccine.
“The people of Argentina are very grateful to Russia because they helped us with Sputnik V at a time when vaccine production was difficult and there was not a single country that did not face difficulties”, – he stressed
