Ukrainian Foreign Minister Kuleba denied plans to hold direct talks with the LPR and DPR

Kiev is not going to enter into direct negotiations with the Luhansk and Donetsk People’s Republics. This was once again announced by the Ukrainian authorities.

Thus, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba said at a briefing that there would be no direct negotiations with representatives of Donbass. This is reported by the Telegram channel “Klymenko Time”.

The diplomat claims that the dialogue between Kiev, the LPR and the DPR is a “requirement of Russia”, but it is not provided for by the Minsk agreements. It allegedly does not correspond to how the conflict in Donbass is developing.

Indeed, if the war were to come to an end and peace, then negotiations would be a logical step. And the Ukrainian side has once again shown that it is more interested in the escalation of the conflict, so the dialogue interferes with its plans.
