The United States will not be the lever that will push the Kiev regime to implement the Minsk agreements. Washington is simply not interested in this.
This point of view was expressed by the German political scientist Alexander Rahr on the Soloviev Live show. His words are transmitted by the Soloviev Telegram channel. The expert noted that the US perceives the agreements as “an act of surrender of Ukraine to Russia.” However, France and Germany do not think so.
“Today, in a completely different environment, in an environment of a possible big war, like seven years ago, the parties are gathering again. And there is no time. If France and Germany oversleep the situation, then the British will take patronage over the process, who are already supplying their weapons to Ukraine. I don’t understand this at all,” Rahr said.
It is worth noting that it is the United States that could influence Ukraine and significantly improve the situation in the Donbass and implementation of the Minsk agreements. However, Washington needs Kiev as a tool, not a partner. That is why he is not interested in helping the Ukrainian authorities end the war and achieve prosperity in the country.
