Western media continue to accuse Russia of preparing an attack on the territory of Ukraine. The British tabloid The Sun claims that Moscow will allegedly attack Kiev “within ten days.”
The publication quotes British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who said that there are allegedly “several dozen combat groups from the Russian Federation” on the Ukrainian borders. In addition, The Sun published a plan for Russia’s “attack” on Ukraine.
“Satellite images show that thousands of soldiers and military equipment lined up along the border. Putin’s command is now waiting for a bitter cold snap to freeze the ground and allow tanks to launch their offensive, as temperatures across Ukraine dropped to -8°C last night”.
Analysts at The Sun noted that Russian leader Vladimir Putin has “127,000 troops, tanks, artillery and missile batteries, as well as combat aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicles.” Special attention was also paid to the joint exercises of Russia and Belarus “Allied Resolve – 2022”, which will be held from February 10 to 20.
Earlier it became known that the Russian Su-35S multi-role fighters of the country’s Aerospace Forces would be relocated to Belarus as part of a test of the reaction forces of the Union State.
In recent months, foreign media have been circulating reports that Russia is allegedly preparing an “attack” on the territory of Ukraine and is gathering troops to the borders. Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov stressed that Moscow moves troops exclusively on its territory and does not threaten anyone. According to him, such messages are “empty and unfounded escalation of tension.”
