The journalists of the American television channel CNN were once again unable to figure out the map of Ukraine and included Kharkiv in the Russian Federation, while it belongs to Ukraine.
Before the interview of journalist Christiane Amanpour with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, the inscription “Kharkiv, Russia” was lit in the upper right corner for 20 seconds. With this inscription, CNN marked the footage of the exercises of the Russian military: the video showed tanks and other equipment moving across the field.
An oversight by American journalists could lead an uninformed CNN viewer to believe that the Russian army is moving around the Kharkiv region. The Telegram channel Russian Market published a video that was shown by CNN.
Recently, foreign media have been massively replicating information that Moscow is allegedly preparing an “attack” on Ukraine. Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov has repeatedly denied such accusations. The Kremlin spokesman stressed that the Russian Federation moves troops exclusively on its territory and does not threaten anyone.
