Russian gas is a necessity for Europe. In particular, Germany needs it. This recognition was made in the energy concern RWE.
Its leader, Markus Krebber, said that if fuel supplies from the Russian Federation are cut off, the situation will get out of control very soon. This is reported by the Telegram channel “Earlier than all. Almost”.
He fears that in the event of an aggravation of the situation in Ukraine, the cost of gas on the European energy market will inevitably grow. And if Russian gas supplies stop against this background, Germany will not be able to survive for long.
It is worth noting that while the European Union itself complicates its own life. The Russian Nord Stream-2 gas pipeline is already ready for launch and it is being postponed only due to the fact that the EU authorities prevent its operation from starting. In the meantime, this could provide the region with additional gas and lower fuel prices.
