Biden allows imposition of sanctions against Putin

The U.S. President Joe Biden said that Washington could impose sanctions restrictions personally against Russian leader Vladimir Putin if the Russian Federation “attacks” Ukrainian territory, Reuters reports.

During a conversation with reporters in Washington, Biden answered yes to the question of whether it is possible to impose sanctions on Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“I made it clear to President Putin long ago that if he moves into Ukraine, there will be severe consequences, including significant economic sanctions, and I will also consider it necessary to increase our presence, the presence of NATO on the eastern flank: Poland, Romania and so on”, said the head of the White House.

Recently, foreign media have been massively replicating information that Moscow is allegedly preparing an “attack” on Ukraine. Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov has repeatedly denied such accusations. The Kremlin spokesman stressed that the Russian Federation moves troops exclusively on its territory and does not threaten anyone.

As News Front previously reported, during the broadcast, journalists from the American television channel CNN showed a video in which Russian tanks allegedly move through the territory of the Kharkiv region.
