NATO will not send troops to Ukraine – Johnson

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has said that NATO troops are unlikely to be sent to Ukraine if the situation escalates because it is not a member of the alliance

“I know that emotionally many people share this view. Of course, instinctively many would call for active physical support to Ukraine in the form of alliance troops, but I have to say that I don’t think that will happen in the near future. Ukraine is not a member of NATO”, –  Johnson said.

Earlier, Croatian President Zoran Milanovic said that Croatian authorities would withdraw their troops from NATO forces in Eastern Europe in case of a “conflict between Russia and Ukraine”.
