The EU community is perplexed over the evacuation of US diplomats from Ukraine
European Union foreign affairs and security policy chief Josep Borrell addressed diplomats at a meeting of European Union foreign ministers, condemning Washington’s actions in evacuating US politicians from Kiev.
“Secretary Blinken will explain to us the reasons for this announcement. We are not going to do something like this as we see no particular reason for it”, – Borrell spoke out.
Russia has repeatedly denied the assumptions of the collective West and the Kiev authorities about an imminent attack on a neighbouring state represented by Ukraine; however, this does not prevent the American establishment from fanning the myth of a “Russian invasion”. Josep Borrell especially stressed that the White House administration was constantly “dramatizing the situation,” artificially causing a sense of a full escalation of the conflict in Eastern Europe.
