Bloomberg reports, citing an EU official, that the US response to the draft security assurances proposed by Russia will specify Russia’s actions that raise concerns for Europe, as well as areas in which the West believes it can respond to Russia’s concerns
“The response is unlikely to include a detailed discussion of the requirements, but it will outline the areas in which Western allies believe they can respond to Russia’s concerns, as well as Russia’s actions that are of concern to Europe”, – the source told the publication.
Earlier, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said that Washington would send Moscow responses to Russia’s proposals on security guarantees this week and would await the reaction of the authorities
