Spaniards want to transfer bombers to Bulgaria to “contain Russia”

Spain appears to have decided to take a more active part in the NATO attempt to put pressure on Russia.

So, the Spanish authorities thought about sending Air Force fighters to Bulgaria so that they “contain Russia.” This is reported by the political magazine PolitExpert, referring to the military observer for EL PAIS Miguel Gonzalez.

The Spanish Ministry of Defense wants to deploy bombers on Bulgarian territory. At the same time, they will not be the first batch of equipment that Madrid uses near the borders of the Russian Federation.

So, the transfer of the frigate Blas de Lezo to the permanent allied fleet was postponed for the next week. They should conduct patrols in the Black Sea. They justified their decision in Madrid with the imaginary “invasion” of Russia into Ukraine.
