Russian Senator on the resignation of the admiral of the FRG: Western politicians are prohibited from sensibly assessing reality

The statement of the commander of the German Navy, Kai-Achim Schönbach, that Crimea is part of the Russian Federation and its “return” to Ukraine should be forgotten, became the reason for his resignation.

Russian Senator Alexei Pushkov commented on this event in his Telegram channel and noted that the dismissal of the military man was a completely expected result of his word.

“Not only to talk like that, it’s even forbidden to think like that. Where better to talk nonsense about the “great history” of Ukraine, which allegedly fought back from the Mongols, then from the Tatars, then God knows who else… This is what Western politics can carry – and it is even encouraged”, he wrote.

Pushkov noted that the West demands from its officials an inadequate perception of reality and an understanding of how the world works. It is necessary that they continue to bend the main line of the general policy and fulfill the ideological order.
In the case of the German general, he showed a “wrong” policy and this behavior was the reason for his dismissal. He retreated from “liberal attitudes” and dared to voice the real situation.
