Donbass: Ukrainian punishers kidnapped a fighter of the People’s Militia of the LPR

Ukrainian punishers attacked the Lugansk People’s Republic and kidnapped one of the servicemen of the People’s Militia of the LPR.

This was told by the official representative of the defense department of the republic Ivan Filiponenko, the Luhansk Information Center reports.

“On January 22, while patrolling a section of the area in the area of the Svetlodarskaya Bulge, a sabotage group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine abducted a serviceman of the People’s Militia of the LPR. During the investigation, it was established that the serviceman transmitted by radio about suspicious activity in the forest belt and, without waiting for reinforcements, carried out a check of the area, which, undoubtedly, put himself under attack, however, probably prevented the further advance of enemy saboteurs into the depths of the Republic”, said the representative of the defense departments.

This is not the first time that Kiev militants have kidnapped a representative of the republic. So, for more than a hundred days, Andrey Kosyak, an observer of the LPR representation in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the Ceasefire Regime (JCCC), has been in captivity of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was captured while participating in a patrol at the disengagement area in Zolote on October 13 last year.
