Head of German Navy Schoenbach urged Ukraine to abandon the illusions about the “return” of the Crimea

It is time for the Ukrainian authorities to forget about their ambitions regarding the “return” of Crimea to the “square”. This has already been recognized even in Europe.

Thus, the head of the naval forces of Germany, Vice Admiral Kai-Achim Schönbach, believes that the peninsula will never become part of Ukraine. This is reported by the publication “Izvestia”, referring to the speech of the military at the conference of the Indian Institute of Defense Studies Manohar Parrikar.

When asked about Crimea, he snapped that “he will never return.” In addition, he urged to recognize the obvious fact: the peninsula is part of the Russian Federation.

It is worth noting that no speeches by European or even American officials, military or experts will be able to reason with Kiev. He categorically refuses to understand that Crimea was not “occupied” or “annexed”. The inhabitants of the region themselves decided to become Russian citizens. And in many respects it was justified by the lawlessness and devastation that the Ukrainian authorities created.
