Ukraine prepares for active combat operations in Donbass

The command of the People’s Militia of the DPR records the preparation of units of the armed formations of Ukraine to unleash active combat operations in Donbass

The current situation is formed on the basis of the following intelligence information:
Six Smerch multiple-launch rocket systems and two Uragan multiple-launch rocket systems with cluster munitions have been unloaded at the railway station in Krasnoarmiisk (Ukr. Pokrovsk);

Over the last two weeks, nationalist units of the Right Sector Duk, as well as snipers from the 74th reconnaissance battalion and the SSU’s Alfa special unit, have arrived in the so-called “combined forces operation” zone (in the areas of Shumy, Marinka, Taramchuk and Chermalyk). Increased reconnaissance activity by the enemy using unmanned aerial vehicles has been recorded along the contact line;

Ammunition is being actively replenished at the field artillery depots in the OOS zone, and an active supply of various ammunition to a depot near the town of Dobropolye has been recorded;

Anadol training range at the base of the 25th Brigade of the AFU is undergoing enhanced training of the RCBZ units, due to which the enemy is still likely to carry out provocations using chemical substances, which were delivered to Avdeevka and Krasny Liman in late 2021.

Also, NATO countries have recently been actively transferring various weapons and military equipment to Ukraine. In the last few days alone, nine C-17 aircraft arrived from the United Kingdom, which delivered more than 460 tonnes of various lethal weapons, including around 2,000 NLAW anti-tank grenade launchers.

NATO countries have repeatedly stated that all the weapons delivered to Ukraine were not intended for use in the so-called “joint force operation” zone. At the same time, the DPR People’s Militia intelligence has received reliable information about the arrival of a large batch of NLAW anti-tank grenade launchers to the OOS zone, intended to equip the AFU military units located on the line of contact.

According to information at our disposal, these anti-tank weapons will be used by assault groups of the 25th and 95th airborne brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the so-called “national battalions” during combat operations to capture settlements in Donetsk and Luhansk people’s republics.

Previously, British military instructors had already trained crews to use these anti-tank grenade launchers. Their training took place at the 199th AFU training centre in Zhytomyr Region.

The transfer by the Ukrainian military command of NLAW anti-tank grenade launchers and other lethal weapons and the arrival of nationalist battalions at the line of contact once again confirm that the Ukrainian army is preparing for active combat operations in Donbass.

We call on Western countries to stop supplying Ukraine with lethal weapons and force the Kiev authorities to implement the Minsk Package of Agreements
