US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken has said he plans to urge Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov to work together to restore and improve security in Europe and is going to warn the Russian foreign minister that “aggression” against Ukraine, despite Russia’s continued denial, would undermine such opportunities
“I will meet with Foreign Minister Lavrov tomorrow and urge Russia to find a way back to the agreements it has signed up to for decades and work with the US, our allies and partners in Europe to write a future that ensures our mutual security”, – Blinken said.
In addition, the State Department is going to make it clear that such a possibility would allegedly be destroyed by “Russian aggression” against Ukraine, which would also lead specifically to the strengthening of NATO defences.
