In total over $38 million will be paid in advance for January. The remainder will be less than $25 million
The government and Moldovagaz do everything to prevent the suspension of gas supplies to consumers, Andrei Spinu, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development of Moldova said.
“Moldovagaz makes daily payments to Gazprom. Yesterday Moldovagaz transferred $7 million and today it will pay another $8.5 million. In all, over $38 million will be paid as advance payment for January. The remainder will make up less than $25 million”, – Spinu said.
The Minister noted that Moldovagaz requested Gazprom to postpone payment of the advance till January 31.
