Latvia will not send its military to Ukraine

Latvian Defence Minister Artis Pabriks said that they were not considering sending their soldiers to Ukraine, but did not refuse to supply the country with lethal and non-lethal weapons

“We are not considering sending soldiers to Ukraine. We know what we will give the Ukrainians, but I will say exactly when those planes land at a Ukrainian airport”, – Pabriks said.

According to him, these deliveries will be important for the “potential defence of Ukraine”.

He also said that Lithuania also intends to supply weapons to Ukraine, and some European countries do not want to follow the example of the Baltic states.
