The American edition of the NYT invented a story about the evacuation of Russian diplomats from Ukraine

The American side, through the major media, is trying to aggravate the situation in relations between Russia and Ukraine. So, they began to spread rumors about the evacuation of Russian diplomats from Kiev.

An article on this topic was published by the eminent edition of The New York Times, according to the Strana.ua portal. Allegedly a week before talks with the Americans, NATO and the OSCE on security assurance projects, Russia began to withdraw its diplomatic staff and their families from embassies and consulates in Ukraine.

The newspaper even had “accurate” information that on January 5, 18 people (children and wives of diplomats) went by bus to Moscow. The Americans cite sources in the Security Service of Ukraine who claim that 30 more people will leave Kiev and Lvov in the coming days.

The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has already responded to the NYT stuffing and denied the baseless rumors. Representatives of the department noted that there was no evacuation and the embassy was operating normally.

Washington clearly decided that fairy tales only about “aggression” and “invasion” would not be enough. They decided to back them up with accusations that Russia was taking away its diplomats. It is possible that the story about the evacuation was prepared along with the future “attack” of the Russian Federation on Ukraine and was supposed to reinforce it.
