Kiev says Ukrainian army has NATO standards mastered

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) Valery Zaluzhny said that the Ukrainian military has fully mastered NATO standards “better than some participating countries.”

“Today, a huge step has been taken in the Armed Forces of Ukraine to get closer not only to the MAP, but also to full membership in NATO […] I don’t want to criticize anyone, but as far as I know, far from all the armed forces of European countries have mastered so many standards who are already members of the Alliance,” Zaluzhny said in an interview with Ukrinform.

According to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Ukrainian military allegedly “got rid of everything Soviet” in order to be a “civilized army”, and also “began to think like NATO” and look “like a European”.

It is noteworthy that despite the “NATO” thinking among the Kiev security forces, an extremely low level of discipline and moral and mental stability continues to be maintained. As News Front previously reported, a drunken company commander in the 57th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine beat a soldier for refusing to go for another portion of alcoholic beverages.

Inspired by the “example” of the commanding staff, ordinary soldiers regularly come into conflict with civilians in the territory temporarily controlled by Kiev. Servicemen of the 24th brigade started a fight with the residents of the settlement. Popasnaya, after which the militants were forced to seek medical help.
